SCHEDULE OF EVENTS – The Club Championship will allow for a two-day, 36 Hole – Championship Stroke Play Tournament – Gross for all divisions. The winners will be considered our official “CLUB CHAMPION”.

ENTRY FEE – $40.00 per player
TEES – Men’s Championship Flight – Blue Tees
Ladies Championship Flight – Red Tees
Senior Championship – White Tees
Super Senior Championship – Green Tees
TIES – Three Hole aggregate playoff starting on hole #1
HANDICAP – Gross
SCORE POSTING – Scores will be posted by the Committee as a Tournament round.
ELIGIBILTY – Club Championship is open to all Poland Spring Members with active GHIN handicap.
PURSE – Winners will be awarded prize money, determined by finishing position, in the form of Pro Shop Credit. All Pro Shop Credit must be used by October 15th.
RULES OF GOLF – All play will be governed by The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA, except as modified by Local Rules. The Rules Committee will have the final authority on all rulings. The competition is deemed to be closed when the trophy is awarded to the champion.
The Tournament Committee/Rules Committee reserves the right to alter any of the conditions, provisions, and/or schedules herein. The decision of the Tournament Committee/Rules Committee in any matter is final.

Notice: 1st Tee Closed for Fireworks Presentation at 12:00PM
Dear Members and Guests,
Please be advised that the #1 tee will be temporarily closed to ensure safety during the upcoming fireworks presentation.
- Date: Monday June 30
- Time: 12:00 PM
- Closed Areas: First Tee Closed at 12:00PM due to the proximity of the fireworks staging as ordered by local and state Fire & Safety officials.
- Reopening: The area will reopen following the conclusion and cleanup of the event.

Attention golfers, Poland Spring will be conducting a Back Side greens aerification process on October 7. All play will start on hole #1. Players starting play in the morning may have to play the front side twice in order to get 18 holes in. During this time, putting surfaces may be slightly disrupted due to aeration holes. We anticipate a full recovery within 7-10 days. Contact the pro shop at (207)998-6002 for the latest updates on green conditions and for any adjustments to playing fees during this period.

Our new Chairman of the tournament is Mike Ward, friend to most of us! He will bring a great day of golf and fun for all!
Suzanne Grover, 73, of Norway, passed away on Jan. 10, 2018. A graduate of Gould Academy, she and her husband, Rupert were a founders of Grover Gundrilling, Inc., Suzanne’s generosity toward the needy was astounding. Almost every day you would find her picking up food in her big black SUV at Wal-mart to personally distribute the donated food to the food pantries.
Poland Spring will donate the course, carts and food to get us our way to raising lots of money for the two food banks!
Bring food (not water) and every pound of food you give you’ll get a raffle ticket for some great prizes!
