2025 Men’s Member Guest  

Sunday September 28

The Men’s Member Guest will allow for 18 Hole, Better Ball of Partners Tournament. Two partners compete together as a side, with each player playing his or her own ball, and a side’s score for a hole is the lower score of the two partners on that hole. Members may have 1-3 guests that will consist of 1-3 teams (Member & Guest 1, Member & Guest 2, Member & Guest 3)  Lunch, cash bar and awards following play.

Members can register online or by contacting the Pro Shop at (207)998-6002.  Members will be responsible for guest name, guest GHIN #, guest home course and home course state at registration.  If guest does not carry a GHIN handicap the committee will need guest’s last five (5) scores, course par, course slope and course rating.

REGISTRATION CLOSES – September 25 at 10:00 AM

REGISTRATION FEE – $75.00 per player

TEE TIME – Shotgun Start 9:00 am

TEES – White & Green

TIES – Ties broken from most difficult to least difficult hole.

HANDICAP – 90%

SCORE POSTING – Scores not posted due to mulligans.

ADDITIONAL EVENT PACKAGE – $25 per player includes Mulligans, 50 /50. Close To The Pin, Long Drive, Raffle

ELIGIBILTY – Men’s Member Guest is open to Poland Spring Members and guests with active GHIN handicap. If a guest does not carry a GHIN handicap the committee will need the guest’s last five (5) scores, course name, course par, tees played, course slope and course rating for the tees played.

PURSE – Winners will be awarded prize money, determined by finishing position, in the form of Pro Shop Credit.  One (1) Gross Team Winner and Three (3) Net Team Winners.  All Pro Shop Credit must be used by October 15th.

RULES OF GOLF – All play will be governed by The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA, except as modified by Local Rules. The Rules Committee will have the final authority on all rulings. The competition is deemed to be closed when the trophy is awarded to the champion.

The Tournament Committee/Rules Committee reserves the right to alter any of the conditions, provisions, and/or schedules herein. The decision of the Tournament Committee/Rules Committee in any matter is final.
