Tennis and Pickleball

Recreation has been vitally important to the Poland Spring Resort’s history. From almost the beginning the Ricker’s added more and more things to do while on vacation.

In 1896, they added The Links at Poland Spring.  They had tennis, skiing, a Bath House for swimming, and more.

During the Robbins ownership, in the last 53 years, we have added more… Shuffle Board, Bocce, Horseshoes and in the late 1980, we changed the paved tennis courts to grass courts.

In 2012, we add the Driving Range, Disc Golf and Mini Golf across the street.

In 2024, we have the addition of 4 new Pickleball Courts….

  • We always reserve the right to terminate any membership due to a breach of civility. For over a hundred years, this small corner of Maine has been reserved for ladies and gentlemen. We are proud that we have been able to have a great sport, much fun, and the company of gentle folks with whom to share the treasure that is Poland Spring.
