Welcome to Mel’s Hilltop Restaurant, originally opened in 1976, after the terrible Poland Spring Hotel fire in 1975. The location was chosen as it was next to the pool but more importantly it was the original location of the Pro Shop with the 1st Tee of the golf course right in front. Over the years, the Poland Spring Pro Shop and Mel’s Hilltop has been remodeled.
We serve a variety of food; appetizers, salads, flatbread pizzas, smash burgers, sandwiches, entrees and desserts. Beverages include Poland Spring Water (of course), Pepsi products, 9 Craft Beers on tap, canned and bottled beer and seltzers, cocktails, coffee, etc.
In golf season, we are open 7 days a week from 11:30 AM until 8 and Friday and Saturday nights until 9 PM.
Off season we are open Thursday 4-8 PM, Friday 4-9 PM, Saturday 11:30 AM – 9 PM, Sunday & Monday 11:30 AM – 8 PM.
